Message from Chairman and Managing Director (Date: 01.04.2025)
My very dear hardworking colleagues, staff members, and officers, it is a matter of great pleasure and pride for me to assume the charge of Chairman and Managing Director of Advanced Weapons and Equipment India Limited, Kanpur.
I am committed to working shoulder-to-shoulder with the entire AWEIL team. I believe that the success of an organization cannot be achieved through individual efforts alone. It requires a strong, dedicated, and organized team. To this end, I will strive to create a work environment within the organization that prioritizes innovative ideas, unique experiences, and unforgettable contributions from all personnel and officers, giving utmost importance to innovation, transparency, and mutual cooperation, where the credit for success is shared equally among all. Therefore, it is a call to all officers and personnel working in all units under AWEIL that we discharge our duties optimally, keeping the organization's priorities paramount.
Product quality and cost are the key mantras for the organization. When product quality is exceptional at a low cost, they become the customer's first choice. Along with this, timely product delivery, after-sales services, customer satisfaction, exploring markets for export, etc., are major challenges that require concerted and dedicated efforts.
Keeping in mind the past and present global scenario, we now need to advance R&D afresh to develop state-of-the-art and machine-based weapons on our own, instead of traditional weapons. Countries that have invested more in research and development for developing the latest weapons have achieved greater success in developing new weapons.
The current era for the newly formed DPSU is undoubtedly unprecedented and challenging, yet I believe that challenges are an integral part of our lives. Humans have been fighting against them and achieving victory through their courage and determination. Victory over challenges always leads us towards development, and it is our resolve that we will contribute our best with loyalty in this development journey and take the organization to the heights of success.
I am confident that together we will leverage new opportunities, find solutions to challenges, and succeed in taking the organization to new heights. I am eager to establish dialogue with all of you and to understand everyone's expectations.
